The technical service itself for my pellet stove has been wonderful. The clean/service/fix appointments have always been very positive experiences, their technician is great, and everything is clean/working well when they leave. The problem is they don’t keep enough technicians available to service the customers they have, yet they keep selling to more people. My pellet stove went out in the middle of winter, and it was 6 very long, cold weeks before I could get someone to look at it. Their attitude is “take it or leave it.” You don’t get a choice of days or anything — you’d better be able to accommodate their schedule, or you will be waiting even longer. If you want your stove cleaned/serviced, plan several months out. Sometimes they don’t even schedule cleaning/yearly service when they are very busy during the winter. So you definitely want to schedule yearly cleanings in the warmer months.
